Oil, Gas, Fishing, and Land Grabbing
The Real Issues Behind the Somali Reconciliation Conferenc
in Kenya (2002 - 2004)

We knew all along that there was something inherently suspicious about the Somali Reconciliation Talks in Kenya (2002 - 2004) and the subsequent formation of the so-called TFG Government.

Now we know that it was not only about warlords, ignorant and backward tribal chiefs, ill-conceived charter, corrupted officials, meddling neighboring countries, or an opportunistic intellegentsia trying to make career even on the backs of a suffering population.

Now we know that it was also about oil, gas, fishing companies, and land grabbing, of setting up a stooge government which will facilitate the robbery of the country.
